GAY FAULKENBERRY

Born in 1952 in Stillwater, Oklahoma Gay Faulkenberry is one of her home states most prominent artists. An avid painter Gay has exhibited extensively for the past two decades and continues to pursue her passion and exhibit her work throughout the United States. Faulkenberry is also an accomplished plein air instructor leading workshops from the east to west coasts.

Confident brushstrokes and a command of color are distinctive in Faulkenberry’s work. “My love of color inspires me to take on one of the greatest of challenges: painting from life…Whatever the subject, I’m inspired by the way light reveals form and essence.”
