Jeff's work features photographs printed on canvas.​ The subject matter is areas of patina on old cars and trucks he comes across while traveling around Wyoming.

Patina can be defined as the surface of something that has been made beautiful by age or use. It has taken as many as fifty years for these patinas to develop into shapes and colors that I find beautiful and abstractly interesting.​
Abstract art is art that does not attempt to represent an accurate depiction of a visual reality.​ These photos capture a visual reality which, perhaps, becomes abstract art.
