Journaling: Capturing Images and Impressions in Words and Drawings

This one-day workshop will combine power-point presentations, demonstrations, handouts, guided exercises, and individual feedback – all designed to enhance and enrich the journaling experience. We will explore the potential of pencil and ink drawings enhanced with watercolor washes to capture images and impressions. What is learned will be useful to those who practice nature, garden, or travel journaling as well as those who journal as a form of meditation or prayer. Expect a fast-paced day, a friendly and supportive atmosphere, and time well spent with like-minded visual explorers.

PLEASE NOTE: All supplies are NOT included and you will need to purchase your supplies from the list provided in advance of the workshop. Please email Ginger for more information: ginger@donnahowellsickles.com

I have been pleased with the quality and customer service of Cheap Joe's Art Stuff, an online art supply provider. If you plan to buy from a local art store or big box store, a visit to the online Cheap Joe's catalog can provide descriptions and pricing information to help you make informed decisions.
